Teddy Needs a Bath {Review/Giveaway}

Meet T.D. A.’s little buddy he has had for over 2 years now. T.D. loves winter time as you can tell by his beanie and scarf. He is A.’s inseparable friend. But before T.D. came into action Blankie was A.’s buddy and they are still inseparable, the three of them. Even at his age A. will snuggle T.D. while rubbing blankie on his forehead/nose to help him fall asleep.

And when it is bath time, yikes. It is practically impossible getting a green light when it comes to washing T.D and Blankie. It doesn’t matter how dirty or stinky they might be A. won’t let them go! But it has happened. Thankfully nothing bad has happened to T.D. Unfortunately Blanike wasn’t so lucky, poor thing got a small tear that my mom was able to fix with her magic sewing skills.

Tears are a huge fear for many of us moms because we know that a broken teddy/blankie means a broken tiny heart. Thankfully, Nicole, owner and bright mind behind Teddy Needs a Bath, came up with a 100% cotton bag where all teddies and blankies can safely be washed and dried without the fear of tears or loose ends.

As soon as we got Teddy Needs a Bath in the mail we gave T.D. a bath, that little fella was in such dire need of a bath! And due to the fact that Blankie was once white we threw it in the bag as well. I was surprised by the size of the bag (20” x 30”) it is so big that I am sure I could throw a few more stuffed animals (which are now in a box ready to be taken out soon) and send them to the toy wash!

The design is so cute!! Love the barely there hair and the teddy being pulled around with a string, screams adorableness to me! My favorite feature, besides the oversized dimensions, is the quality of the zipper and the bag itself. The zipper is thick and sturdy which is handy is you have a lot of stuffed animals to throw in the washer. And of course you can use the Teddy Needs a Wash with practically anything, from shoes to pet toys and pillow…if only I had one of these a few months back that poor pillow stuffed somewhere in my laundry room will still be in one piece…

Rumor has it that the bath was fun! Or so I have been hearing around the house. You know, those whispers are not so clear…they are so very quiet that I am sure A. is the only to fully understand them!!

T.D and Blankie made it safe and sound after the washer and jumped right into the dryer without leaving the bag…now that is awesome.

And a light bulb just turned on…I am so using the Teddy Needs a Wash with my socks which always, seriously, always get lost somewhere between our feet and the dryer!

Truly recommend it. It is well worth the $14.99 for the piece of mind and happy laughs and smiles when the little ones see their teddy and/or blankie coming out of the bag in one piece, warm and good smelling.
