Moving in

We finally did it. We found our new apartment and moved in yesterday afternoon! The place is smaller than our house in Portland but it is the right size for us right now. I mean, we snagged the apartment at an amazing deal!! $995 a month for 6 months, yeah yeah!!

The kitchen is smaller and there’s barely space for my stuff!! All my vases are high up on top of the counters instead of on a safer place…still safe enough to be garden from little hands and flying balls.

The apartment is a bit old. But I do have a soaker tub! Honestly, my mother in law is way more excited about that one than I am…never been one to be able to sit still and soak in a tub. Am I crazy?

The boys got to keep the bigger room, once more. I guess that’s what happens when you have a race car bed, a crib, a dresser, a kitchen, and a huge train table. Still, mommy and daddy got to keep the TV in our room!! Which is cool and not so cool…cool ’cause it is in my room and we can watch TV before we go to sleep, which brings us to the not so cool part of the dilemma….I barely watch TV. GLEE STARTS TOMORROW!!

Hehe…how are you liking the huge randomosity of this post?! This is how my brain works…

We now live closer to a Safeway than in Portland. Hobby Lobby is right across the street (YEI!). Goodwill and the Dollar Tree Store are across the street from Safeway. And, to make it even better, Salvation Army is merely 2-3 blocks away!! We surely live in the middle of it all!! We are only missing a zoo, an aquarium, and a children’s museum and then we’d be set!

And just because I am procrastinating I want to share with you all my new favorite song of the moment:

So, hope your day is going great!!

See ya’ later, alligators!

Glad you made it and have a place to live now! Have fun procrastinating! I am not much of a tub-soaker either. I know some people can read in the tub, but I would be too worried about getting the book wet! Our tv-watching has decreased since we ditched cable and survive on Netflix and Hulu – but we still have some shows we love (like Castle and How I Met Your Mother). Enjoy your new area and have fun exploring!

We cancelled cable too! And probably never going back. We used to have Netflix but they have tons of old shows and none of the new ones so we are sticking to Hulu and soon we wil get a huge antena soon!! πŸ˜€ Hehehe…

So far so good….Parker is pretty and the skies are gorgeous. And I’ve joined the gym!! Today we played Racquetball and got quite the exercise!! how have you been?

Congratulations on your new place! I think if I lived across the street from a Hobby Lobby, we’d go into debt. πŸ™‚
