Honestly, I didn’t know how it would go. I must say that I never thought she was guilty, so I was hoping for the best and it sure did!
It all felt wrong from the beginning. Blood everywhere. Rape. Murder. And yet the only tiny piece of evidence against Amanda Know was some DNA in her own house. Yeah, I am pretty sure that you will be able to find my DNA on my knives and even my bathroom sink, surprise, huh?! But the Italian judicial system seems so sketchy and so screwed up. You blame an American girl of murder because she is pretty? Wow, why even bother, lets just point fingers and hope we get at least one conviction right. Besides, blaming someone of witchery is so 1692!
I guess the Italian law enforcement should stop trying to make themselves look cool and instead watch some CSI, they could learn a thing or two.
All in all, I am glad that Amanda has been set free. That her life has been given back to her. I wish the best for her and her family. I truly hope that she can now have a fulfilled life surrounded with family and friends.
But lets not forget, Meredith Kercher. My thoughts and prayers go to you and your family. May you rest in peace.
Amanda, welcome home!
