Between moving to Colorado, getting a new job, Holidays, family visits from Texan lands, and more work I have been away from my blog. But there has been this little nagging voice in the back of my mind insisting me to let her share more about the little things that keep going in and out of my head, like the Prince Lionheart Balance Bike, which we’ve been reviewing for a bit now (oops).

I am pretty sure most of you guys have heard about Prince Lionheart, specially their Balance Bike. If not, well, let me share a bit about the bike.

 

Prince Lionheart’s balance bike will teach your child how to balance – a crucial skill necessary before transitioning to a two-wheeled pedal bicycle. Your child’s sense of independence and self-confidence will become evident as they learn to balance and steer at their own pace: first walking, then gliding!

 

 

Both my boys love the bike so much even though they haven’t quite figured out how to use it correctly. A. already knows how to ride a bike with the help of training wheels but he doesn’t quite get the whole balance part of it. If he leans to the right he is instantly caught by the right training wheel which makes it easy to ride it. So the balance bike will be of great help to improve his balance skills. J., on the other hand, could barely touch the ground since he is a shorty. I am sure he can now touch the ground.

Little by little they will figure it out…I’ll just have to make sure they are all decked up in helmet, knee and elbow pads…and probably a pillow right under their butts if I can get away with it! Or maybe just under mine…and my elbows just in case I have to launch myself forward to catch any little boys falling off the bike. Oh this will be so much fun!
