something about me

No one ever knows someone 100%. You might be able to know someone’s persosnality, way of reacting. But you never know their likes and dislikes to a full extent. We are always on a non stop journey where we discover new cool things and not so fancy stuff. Through this meme “Something about me” I want to share with you what makes me who I am.

For our first post:

COMEDY.

I cannot say I am a funny person. I am not as witty as Emma Stone or Kristen Wiig, I wish, but I am seriously far from it. I do have my moments that make people laugh (mostly are not on purpose).

I love comedy. Still, I can’t stand most “comedy” movies. All those chick flicks are off my list. If I ever want to cry and laugh at the same time I’ll simply kick a table with my bare feet.

Stupid comedy I cannot deal with. I disliked The Hangover to the extent where I can say that movie should give me back those 100 minutes it took away from me.

My kind of comedy is Improv. I love improv! When I first moved to the US, and on one of those days of nothing to do (hey, I wasn’t allowed to work here just yet) I came upon Whose Line is it Anyway? and I’ve been hooked ever since!

There was a point in time where our DVR was full of their episode. I can proudly say that I have seen almost all of the episodes, and there are some I have seen at least 5 times each!

What do I like about this show (and improv/stand-up)? Well, let me show you why I love it so:

I could watch this show all the day long! It’s funny, it’s witty, and, at times, even stupid. I’m just hoping that one of these days I can get to meet Colin and Ryan (oh, who, by the way, lives here in Bellingham, woo hoo!!).

Do you like comedy? Improv? Stand-up?

I do like Improv too. The Who’s Line guys have been to our local casino twice now, but I keep missing them. They are funny!

Ryan lives in Bellingham and he even has an improv club but I’ve never had the chance to go. I did see him once, long ago, on his way to the movies…he was with his son so I didn’t want to interrupt their day….

And they are so silly, specially Ryan and Colin together! They always seem to have such good fun!
