According to Dictionary.com:

old school

Used, usually approvingly, to refer to someone or something that is old-fashioned or traditional.

When I hear “old school” images of old things come to mind: rusted metal, dinged teapots, cracked dishes, vinyl records. Every since I can remember I have liked antiques. They have a feeling of melancholy to them. They have so many stories behind them.

Above it all I love classic cars. My dad has always said that I was born on the wrong era. He thinks my soul belongs more on the 30’s or 40’s…maybe he is right, but there is seriously no way to know…unless someone has already come up with a time machine! Then, only then, could I know if I belong to the old school days of yore.

But that is not all that comes to mind when I hear the words ‘old school’, I also picture something like this:

Doesn’t get any more old school than that!! I now want to be a cool lady when I grow old and teach youngsters what ti took to cool back on the old school days!
