Summer Days

Summer days are come and gone. Trees are starting to change their color, and some are already loosing their leaves. It is sad that we barely got a few sun rays. While half the country was going through a heat wave we were still dealing with 60 degree weather. This is the Pacific North West to ya’! But we did get our hot summer days. And this is what we did:

Summer Days - Sprinkler Fun

The boys had a blast with the sprinkler we put on the yard. At first A. was the only one running around like the crazy little boy he is. J., on the other hand, simply sat next to me until he decided to give it a go. He got wet and he loved it!

Soon after I had my two boys running all over the place and having such a great time! That week the weather got to the lower 80′s and man was it uncomfortable. And to our surprise, we don’t have A/C! Well, not very surprising being that the northwest rarely gets too hot, and when it does it is for very few days so it makes no sense to waste money on an A/C.

So, what have you and your family done this summer?!

Your boys sure are cute and they look like they have a blast with the sprinkler. We haven’t used a sprinkler in years. My kids prefer our pool, so they spent a lot of time there this summer. Great pictures!

Wow those are amazing photos! We went to Girl Guide summer camp, played outside a lot and that’s about it.

We have been enduring the Texas heat wave!

It looks like your boys had a blast in the sprinkler! Summer feels pretty much over here as well and it’s making me really sad. My fiance and I just bought our own home and it has a pool in the backyard, so of course summer had to come to an abrupt end way too early now that we have a great way of cooling off in the heat without blasting the air conditioning and making the electric bill skyrocket. Has to be some Murphy’s Law business going on right there. The leaves here haven’t started changing or dying off yet, but it has been down in the low 60′s at night every single night for the past week.

Great photos! My son has a sprinkler but he just hasn’t been interested in using it. He’d rather swim in a pool. What a monkey. LOL

That does look like fun. Like you we have no AC here in Flagstaff Arizona, mainly because for just two months out of the year its in the 80s….so why would you need AC for that. Anyway…We had a couple fun water gun fights, me and My J Myster. Check it out: http://www.mommyonlyhas2hands.org/2012/07/what-weekend.html

Living in Florida, it feels like summer most of the time. I go Christmas shopping in shorts! I am Orig. from Kentucky, so shopping in shorts in Christmas always blows my mind (even after living here for twelve years!)
We went to Kentucky for a month and spent time on my mother’s farm. While we were there, we also went camping.
The time spent at home in Florida, we went snorkeling and to the beach. Unless water is involved, it’s too hot to do much of anything else.
    Your boys are adorable!!
