Alright so, what comes to mind when I say ice cream? I am 100% sure you thought of hot summer days with ice cream melting down your elbow. You are so right!!
Yet, so wrong! Why? Well, ice cream is not only a Summer treat! And Arctic Zero is making sure you get to enjoy delicious ice cream year round! Plus, the deal maker…every single Arctic Zero pint of ice cream is only 150 calories!!! You read that right!
Not only is Arctic Zero low in calories (yei!) but it is also all natural, gluten free, low glycemic, and perfect for those who are lactose intolerant! Did I mention a pint is 150 calories? I did? 😀
Arctic Zero sent us a huge package to try out…I’ve never seen my husband so happy for ice cream!!
Tyler went straight for a chocolate covered vanilla bar. Before I even blinked, the bar was gone! I heard it was good…I did not get to try a single bar, they all mysteriously disappeared. Wonder how that happened…
Arctic Zone bars offers 85 calories per bar, pretty awesome! They are gluten free, kosher, lactose intolerant friendly, no hydrogenated oils, and they are great for kids since they contain no sugar alcohols!
They come in 3 yummy flavors: vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate.
Now, lets move on the the yummy yummy ice cream pints! These where my favorite (since all the bars were eaten way too fast).
The ice cream comes in 8 different flavors: cookies and cream, chocolate, chocolate peanut butter, coffee, mint chocolate cookie, strawberry, vanilla maple, and pumpkin spice! I would have never thought about making pumpkin spice flavored ice cream! But hey, it sounds great for Thanksgiving (which is just around the corner).
Lets dissect the flavors…
When we tried the ice cream, we tried them all at the same time! 😀 I was seen as cool by my boys that day! A. and I were the first to open the pints since J. was still napping. So we got all the pints out and laid them on the table and we tried a bite from each.
A. loved the strawberry and chocolate flavors the best. He refused to try the pumpkin spice and his least favorite where the chocolate peanut butter.
The chocolate peanut butter tastes just like a handful of roasted peanuts with a few chocolate chips thrown in for good measure. It is soooo good!! Way beter than peanut butter!
My last favorite is the strawberry ice cream…but this is because I have never liked strawberry ice cream, so my opinion here is a bit biased.
Once J. woke up and saw all the ice cream laid on the table he instantly jumped on his chair and started eyeing the ice cream until he settled for the chocolate mint cookie! He loved it!! He, also, refused to try the pumpkin spice flavor. He was not a bug fan of the strawberry once (which is odd since he lives for strawberries). His least favorite the chocolate peanut butter ice cream.
My top 3 flavors: cookies and cream, chocolate, coffee!! I am both a coffeeoholic and a chocoholic, and proud of it! Least favorite: pumpkin spice.
What makes Arctic Zone be low on calories is that their products are water based and not cream based. This reminds me of my summer days back home where our parents would take us downtown Guadalajara for some ice cream. I love Arctic Zone’s chocolate and coffee flavors because it tastes just like the ice cream I used to eat when growing up. Brings good memories. And, somehow, Arctic Zone figured out how to make the cookies and cream flavor kind of creamy, it is not as watery as the rest, and this I liked a lot!
