My boys love to take a bath. OK, that’s a lie! I will have to rephrase that: My boys love to play with water! Whether they get to do so in the shower or bath they love to splash it, pretend to cook with it, or see who can spit it the highest (extra points if you get mommy on the face with it). But I often worry about them slipping…water, jumping, and fooling around are not always the best when done at the same time, but little boys will be little boys and jumping will happen. We got the opportunity of reviewing a SlipX Solutions pebble bath mat and I must say that I might have to steal it and put it in my shower (somehow).
The pebble bath mat fits perfectly in a regular bath tub but they also offer extra long mats in case your tub is bigger. I decided to go with a transparent mat because it is easy to match with any kind of decor.
This pebble mat bath was designed to look and feel just like real pebbles. It feels good to stand on it with bare feet.
When we got the mat in the mail I couldn’t believe that my boys would be so excited about getting a mat for their bathroom!! I mean, yeah it is pretty neat and everything, but it is a mat after all, right?! It might have something to do with the old, yellowish, rubbery mat they used to have in their tub…or it might just be because they are silly and love to get boxes in the mail!!
That very same day, after we got the mat, the boys decided they were ready to go take a bath. So off we went to try the new mat and they love it! Apparently it is great for playing cars on…preferably without water though. So much better than the old stinky mat they had (which is now long gone).
