I always love finding new and innovative things that make life easier and better. It is even better when said innovations are fun and an extension of who I am. There is this joke in the family where things are labeled as “Sofia’s _________” (i.e., Sofia’s earrings, Sofia’s shoes). These things show who I am, and fit my personality.
Recently I came upon The Bina a great fashion innovation that every single woman needs.
What is The Bina?
The Bina is a rectangular piece of fabric that can be used in so many different ways. When I showed The Bina I received to review (yei!) I had to show it to my husband and he immediately said: “Hey, it is like that thingy in The Lorax!”. And I couldn’t have said it any better!! The Bina is the real life Thneed!!
I’m being quite useful. This thing is a Thneed.
A Thneed’s a Fine-Something-That-All-People-Need!
It’s a shirt. It’s a sock. It’s a glove. It’s a hat.
But it has OTHER uses. Yes, far beyond that.
You can use it for carpets. For pillows! For sheets!
Or curtains! Or covers for bicycle seats!” *
With The Bina you can create many looks with just one piece!! Wear it as a scarf, cardigan, poncho, back wrap, front wrap, poncho, blouse, stole, turtleneck, tunic, and even a headscarf!! And if you apply yourself, you could even make it work for socks, curtains, and pillow, just like a Thneed!
The Bina: My Favorite Looks
I tried to replicate every single look you can create with The Bina but not all of them looked good on me. The model rocks every look, but me, not so much! I still had fun, though!
Scarf
It is no secret that I love scarves, so it is no surprise that my top favorite way to wear The Bina is like a scarf!!
Even though the Bina is a tiny tad see through I was surprised to find it to be warm when wrapped around the neck.
Just like any other scarf, the Bina can be wrapped in so many ways. You can go with a simple look or a knot.

Cardigan
The cardigan is simple and casual. It can be worn open, as is, or with a belt. See, the Bina, one simple way to wear resulting in two different looks!!
The cardigan would be also great during summer with a cute tank top and shorts. And for the winter days a long sleeve shirt under The Bina will look great too!!
Simple, casual, and versatile! Yeah!

Poncho
I love ponchos!! I grew up wearing cute white ponchos knitted by my late grandma. I think I still have one somewhere (and no one to wear it). Ponchos are close to my heart.
The Bina can be worn as a poncho in a few different ways. And each poncho style is just as awesome as the one before.
What makes ponchos so cool is that can be worn when lounging at home drinking a hot cocoa while watching a movie, or it can be worn on a night out in the town! Ponchos are easy to take from day to night.

Turtleneck
This turtleneck would be great worn during the spring on top of a cute tank top! It keeps you warm enough that you won’t need to wear a sweater.
What I like the most from this look is how simple it is to recreate and how comfortable it is. It is a smaller version of the cardigan but with a great looking back!!

All in all the Bina is a must have! It is fun, innovative, comfortable, high quality, unique, simple, and flattering!! Even if you are pregnant, you will look amazing in a Bina!! I am pretty sure you can even use the Bina as a breastfeeding cover.
So, make sure to add The Bina to your Christmas list! Of course, you can always give it away to the fashionista in your life!!
