I have always secretly wanted my very own ugly Christmas sweaters. They are ugly and, yet, they are fun! It is not very often when one is encouraged to wear the tackiest of garments. The uglier, the better!
Now, thanks to Skedouche, who sent me one of their tacky Christmas sweaters, I can say I am the proud owner of a fun piece of ugly. Well, in all honesty the sweater I chose is far from ugly!! It is cute and festive.
I decided to go with the Holiday Reindeer Woman’s sweater ($59.99) in red. If I would have had a puppy I would have gotten him his very own so we can be match and look tacky together! But, and I just discovered this, Skedouche also carries the exact same sweater in men’s and kids’ sizes!! That way, all I need is 3 more sweater for my entire family!! Now that would make the best Christmas Card ever!!
I’ve been wearing the sweater around the house. I was surprised at how comfortable and extremely warm it is!! One thing I do not like is the strings inside due to the knitting pattern. I have had my finger nails stuck in said strings. I mean, it is not such a big deal, but it is a bit different from your regular knit sweater. Then again, we are talking about an ugly Christmas sweaters.
I have also worn the sweater out into town. I was, honestly, surprised to receive more warm smiles than odd stares. I guess I am not the only one who has been secretly wanting their very own ugly sweater, huh?! Or maybe, some of the owners of these smiles have their very own ugly Christmas sweater and simply wished they could wear them out in the public!
