RandomLine Spin and Seek: Christmas

By Saturday, December 1, 2012 12 No tags Permalink 0

A few years back I got all the Where’s Waldo? books. I went through them, found Waldo on some, and gave up on looking for him on a few pages. I have always wanted to share this books with my boys but didn’t think they’d be so interested on them. This changed when I saw my oldest son, 4, with two of my book on his bed while he napped. Later on he told me that he was going through them and found Waldo on almost all the pages! Simply amazing!!

A few weeks back we got the opportunity of reviewing one of RandomeLine‘s new games: Squiggle Spin and Seek. Of course I agreed to review it since they are right up on A.’s new favorite hobby!

RandomLine Spin and Seek

Spin and Seek is a fun hidden object game, just like the Waldo books. The difference is, well, there is no Waldo but a 100 page pad with squiggles and doodles for you, or other players, to find.

The Spin and Seek has a wheel with all the hidden object you have to find. The objects are very well hidden and not two pages are alike.

When we got the Spin and Seek activity pad in the mail A. was so excited!! But unfortunately it was nap time so he was not to use it just yet. That nap did not last long but he did get some sleep. Man was he excited to get his hands on his new game!

He set to work right away. Spinning the wheel, looking for the candy cane, and marking it red. Spin, look, and mark.

He might seem all full of seriousness, he gets that from his dad. But he enjoys himself so very much every time he get to play with his Spin and Seek…he enjoys it so much he will go through pages and stick them all on my fridge!

Not only is he having fun but he is learning to follow directions, maintain attention, but it also inspires creative thinking. The look of pride in his eyes when he find that tough object he has been looking for over 5 minutes is seriously priceless!

Nothing makes me a happier mother than to see my children learn, have fun, and feel proud of their achievements.

That looks like so much fun! This would be a perfect holiday gift for my nephew (he’s 8) who spends a lot of time traveling in the vehicle. Thanks for telling us about it!
