It has been a few years since I started to seriously take car of my skin. It would have been ideal to have taken care of it since day one, but well, I never really had anyone suggest the fact that I am supposed to wash my face twice a day, or how to apply nail polish artfully without looking sloppy. So, some beauty tips are practically new to me.
Recently I learned about Antho Beauty Purists and have fallen in love with their products. Their skincare line has products for every skin type: normal, dry to mature, oily & combination, and sensitive; as well as scent inspirations like lavender, lemongrass, rose, citrus, patchouli, and unscented.
Antho Beauty Purists
What sets Antho Beauty Purists apart from all beauty brands is that they are truly eco-friendly, all natural, and vegan. This means there are ZERO bad chemicals, preservatives, and synthetics. Every product in their line is good for the people, kind to the planet, and cruelty free.
After some much ado I decided to go with the Pomegranate and Acerola: Revitalizing Organic Face Masque ($17.95) and the Tender as Petals: Mild Natural Face Cleanser ($16.95).
Antho Beauty Purists: Tender as Petals – Mild Natural Face Cleanser
I have used one too many cleansers in the past. And every single one of them has left my skin dry and tight. Some even made my skin drier than it was prior to use. Ever since my Pityriasis Rosea (PR) my skin has not been the same, it is dry and flaky on spots, so using a cleanser that makes my skin even worse is worthless.
I must say that I was a bit afraid of using the face cleanser due to my dry skin. Once again I was proven wrong. My skin is still flaky in spots (right under the chin) due to the PR, but it is not as dry as it used to. Now I can moisturize once a day instead of 2-3 times.
What makes this face cleanser work is the fact that there are no detergents, soaps, artificial fragrances, preservatives, or toxic irritants. After you rinse your face your skin will feel amazing! It feels clean, fresh, smooth. Lighter, better.
This face cleanser is beneficial for all skin types that have a bad reaction to dehydration cause by detergent and/or soop based cleansers.
How to use:
Super simple! Mix 1 teaspoon with water to create a paste (you can always adjust the consistency to what works best for you). Gently apply to face like any other cleanser; make sure to avoid eyes and mouth. Rinse and moisturize.
Antho Beauty Purists: Pomegranate Acerola – Revitalizing Organic Face Mask
I have never used a facial masque in my life prior to trying this pomegranate and acerola face masque. I cannot believe I have not tried it before!! I honestly look forward to the end of the day, right after he boys go to sleep, and I can get a few minutes for myself without the usual interruptions cause by my two boys.
This face mask uses super fruits that are rich in powerful anti-aging antioxidants (hey, it is never too early to start an anti-aging regime, right?!). But not only does this masque provide this antioxidants, it also nourished, moisturizes and pampers your skin!
This face masque is perfect for dry, mature, damaged, sunburned, blemished, and problem complexions.
How to use:
Since the Antho face masques do not have water you will have to add it yourself. Brownie points to Antho!! You get more product for your money since there is no water or fillers!! You get all full 2.9 oz to use, and a little goes such a long way!
All there is to do is mix 1-2 teaspoons with water to create a paste and gently apply to your clean, damp face. Make sure to avoid eyes and mouth. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse before it dries and moisturize.
After you take the masque off your skin will feel lovely! My skin felt so soft and smooth and, weird to say, it felt like it could breathe easier. It felt lighter and so much better than before!
If you are looking for an organic, all natural, and eco-friendly skincare product that will leave your skin feeling smooth, clean, fresh, lighter, look no further and make sure to check Antho out!!
