I used to have a list of 25 Random Facts About Me but I misplaced it and who knows where it is…therefore this is my new list of randomness:
- When it comes to music I greatly avoid balads. I would rather listen to a song with great percussion instruments. Take for example: Hummingbird by Alex Clare.
- While working at Hobby Lobby people mostly mistook me for an 18 year old…close, by like 10 years.
- I have very bad blood circulation on my feet. If I do not wear socks (unless it is very, very hot) my feet turn purple. Ask Tyler, I scared the hell out of him once. He seriously thought my feet had frost bite…in the middle of summer.
- I cannot eat a Reese’s Cup without gagging; same with PB&Js. For some odd reason I find it quite gross, but I do like peanut butter.
- I am not shy of my age. Ask me and I will shout it at the top of my lungs. Alright, I promise not to yell in your ear, but I would gladly oblige.
- I love every single one of my gray hairs! Finding a new one makes me happy (I think I now have about 8) and I get very upset when one falls off. I have actually contemplated letting my hair be and let it all turn white/gray. I guess this is because I loved my late paternal grandma’s hair which was completely white by the age of 30. She was beautiful (miss you Grandma!).
- I have a thing for British actors. They have that je ne sais quois; i.e., Luke Evans (Welsh), Daniel Craig, Ewan McGregor (Scottish, but still counts, right?), Jude Law.
- I can twist my tongue like a taco! But that is the fanciest tongue trick I can do…boring, I know.
- I hate clowns thanks to the movie/show “It”. Seriously creeped the hell our of me and can’t be near a clown doesn’t matter how friendly they may seem.
- My favorite song changes every week. I can listen to it over and over without tiring of it. I will either whisper the lyrics or lip-sync.
- I clean when I am mad or extremely upset.
- I have always wondered if the extras in the background of movie or show scenes are actually following a script or just saying random things.
- I’ve been told I look like Anne Hathaway and Nancy Kerrigan.
- I do not like seafood. The only sea creatures I like are shrimp and fish (only fillets though, having to stare at and then eat a whole fish makes me loose my appetite).
- I took 3 years of French but never once did I ask if I could go to the ladies room. Pronouncing toilette was impossible. And I still can’t figure out if I am mexicaine or mexicain. So…oui.
- I used to bite my nails. Now I only bite the skin around them when I am feeling anxious.
- I am afraid of embarrassing myself in front of others.
- I have never eaten brussel sprouts. In fact, I have never seen brussel sprouts in person, only in pictures.
- I often dream of falling down my late grandma’s stairs. The fall seems to never end and I always wake up when I am about to crash. I literally jump and then awake…strangest and most awful feeling ever.
- I would love to have an Utonagan puppy! They resemble a wolf, but in fact are a mix of three breeds of domestic dog: Alaskan Malamute, German Shepherd, and Siberian Husky. And they are also British!! Go figure!

3 facts about me hmmmm
1. I sing in the shower not very well though! My favorite songs to sing are I’m sexy and I know it and the little orphan Annie some “the sun will come out tomorrow.
2. I’m dyslexic so some times I read and write backwards. I think my facebook friends think I’m crazy
3. Sometimes I eat cupcakes for breakfast…. Only when the kids aren’t looking.

Hmmm…good question.
1) My eyes water when I get nervous.
2) I smoked in high school (terrible habit, I know!) and now I can’t stand the smell and I really don’t like my son being around anyone that smokes.
3) I’m still terrified of public speaking.
I’m with you on #3…I have terrible stage fright to the point where in high school I chose to fail a literature project than to have to stand in front of the class and recite a poem …that bad.
I can’t eat PB&J either! I love peanut butter sandwiches, and I like jelly on toast, but together I think they’re a horrible combination.

I was born and raised in Trinidad (Caribbean) but I can’t stand the summers in the US.
I like being cold at night but don’t like winter at all.
I bake to relieve stress.
I am from Mexico and summer back home where so different than summers here in the US…I completely understand!! It is a completely different kind of heat.

1. People always mistook me as very young too – until I had children!
2. I used to play college volleyball.
3. I coached college volleyball, no one would ever expect either because I’m only 5’6.
5’6″ is not bad for volleyball!!

I love orange, turquoise and bright bold color.
I only like to visit the cold to play if the temp drops below 70 at home I think I am freezing.
The beach is my version of heaven.

I haven’t been to a true beach in quite awhile, you know, actual sand and big waves (and not the rocky, super lame waves found in WA beaches)

Age is just a number!! What matters is what age you fee like…I am 28, happy and proud thou ask me again in 2 years, turning 30 is kind of making me nervous!

3. I would really rather not sleep. It wastes so much time.
