There are always things in life that will instantly bring back memories from your childhood or from a special moment lost in the past. In this instance I recalled my favorite outfit from when I was a 5 year old little girl: white with tiny red flowers, long sleeves, and very fancy stitching in the middle. My mom made it when she was pregnant with my brother, and she made one for herself that matched mine, I guess this is what made it so special.
After I was introduced to Krimson Klover and their beautiful merino tights I could clearly see myself wearing my favorite dress, with a white cardigan, a white pair of tights, red mary janes, and high pig tails. How I wish I still had this dress with me.
Krimson Klover is an apparel company that focuses on luxurious sweaters with a touch of femininity and playfulness. Their patterns are bright and full of color. All Krimson Klover clothing exudes love for an active and full life.
I was so lucky to get to review two items from the Krimson Klover collection: Sweet as Honey Tights and the Feather Thy Nest sweater (which requires its very own review because it is my, now, favorite item in my closet).
The tights are 86% Merino, 13% Nylon, 1% Spandex and are so, so comfortable. I honestly don’t know why I never got a pair of tights before because they are the perfect accessory during the winter days.
I have worn the tights quite a few times. My favorite way to wear them is with the grey dress in the pictures above, my rider boots, and my H&M grey coat. Perfect for a day out in wherever!
Of course the tights are also perfect for a casual look. You can wear tweed shirts, even denim, with a nice casual top, and converse or even booties.
Krimson Klover Tights: Care
Due to the nature of the yarn used (merino, nylon, and spandex) these tights are to be hand washed or dry cleaned. If you want to go the hand wash route, make sure to not use bleach, do not tumblr dry but lay flat to dry. And if need be use iron using the low temperature setting.
So even if you do need to wash them it is easy and pretty straight forward.
