I have always told my self that I dress for me, and no one else. But then I started thinking about all the clothes I did not get just because I did not want any criticism on them. If I wouldn’t have cared back then I would have a beautiful floral summer dress hanging in my closet, or how about that light blue blouse that I was told made me look like a grandma?
Well, now I am growing into my own skin and actually dressing for me. I don’t know if you guys might recall my review on Krimson Klover merino tights, but ever since that review I am more comfortable with my fashion choices.
Along with the tights I also received my now favorite merino sweater. I still recall taking my time choosing the right sweater wondering what kind of comments it would get. Long story short, I decided to go with the Feather Thy Nest merino sweater. The pattern is beautiful and it has birds, what else can I say!
I received this beautiful sweater a few weeks back and I must confess I was a tad afraid that the sweater would be heavy and itchy (it is made from 80% Pima and 20% Merino). I was surprised to see how light and warm this sweater is. And even from getting it out of the package you can see, and feel, just how high quality it is.
Of course I switched sweaters right away, from my silly Lion King sweater to my new Krimson Klover merino sweater! I didn’t think I was going to but I got so many compliments on it!! From the feel of it to its cut and to how nice it fell on my body; but mostly because of the collar:
The collar falls beautifully and honestly this picture does it no justice. Plus the contrast of the light versus the dark pattern makes it look even better.
Something else I like about this sweater is its versatility: you can easily wear it around the house while cuddling close to the fire while reading a good book, or you can wear it to spruce any outfit up as you go out of a date night or girl’s night out! Plus it is easy to care for: hand wash and dry flat, or dry clean. Simple.
