Yeah, I know what you might be thinking: school already started. Well, not for mister A. We are on the process of getting him on an open enrollment school which means that he will be joining the school force soon. And he’s very excited!
We already went to one school which is 20 minutes from where we live; Wednesday we will go check another school two blocks from my husband’s downtown office. I love the first school (WWHS) but we will have to ultimately go with what is more convenient, commute wise (see, we are at the end of our renting lease and, depending on where we find a new place, I am not willing to drive 50 minutes to take A. to school 3 times a week).
Anywho, I am making this story longer than it should. So, long story short:
Ready for School with a Posy Lane Camo Backpack
There is no getting ready for school without a backpack, right?! And it is even better when it is camo!! Can you tell this boy loves camo?! Backpack and pants, yeah! He calls them his army pants. Silly, silly.
We received the backpack from Posy Lane who specializes in personalized items for your daily life (children’s plate, phone cases, stationery, apparel, etc). I am sure you’ve heard of them before, right? They are that cool!
This boy loves his camo backpack so much that he will take it practically anywhere with him! He took it to the frist school’s tour, he takes it to go pick up the pizza for dinner, he takes it on the car with him with two extra outfits for just in case (one for him, one for his brother).
The backpack has been filled with toys, hot wheels, teddy and other stuffed animals, clothes, socks, water bottles. And he seriously just walks around the house with his backpack! And honestly I do not know if it is just because it is an army backpack or because it has been personalized with his name (which for safety purposes has been blurred out).
On and talking about their personalized backpack: the stitches are perfect, the color pops up (A. favorite color), the backpack materials are high quality. I love it, and A. loves it. And that makes me a happy momma!
The only con I see…A. still doesn’t know how to put it on. Usually the straps are all tangled and the backpack is upside down…but he doesn’t seem to care, oh well!
So, we are one step closer to being completely ready to go to school thanks to Posy Lane!

While it is a little small for the requirements our school has, my boys would go absolutely nuts over this backpack! Although it would be perfect for traveling! I always let them fill one backpack full of toys for entertainment on the road. I’m getting tired of having to unload the school stuff from the backpack everytime we want to go somewhere.
