Prior to this review I had heard of eShakti, and I am pretty sure most of you have heard of them as well. But it wasn’t until now that I truly understood what eShakti has to offer. Yes, they do customizable dresses, shirts, and skirts, but I never thought it could be customize to my every whim (and you’ll later on see what I mean).

After some perusing through their website I chose this beautiful dress that takes me back to the 60′s and makes me feel like a little girl. I did twirl infront of my mirror; even my boys asked me to twirl for them.
The dress on itself is gorgeous. I was surprised that even my picky husband liked it! He was the one who suggested I should wear it to the Country Club (that meant he really liked it).
I loved the dress as-is but you can have it custom styled and these are your options:
Step 1: here you get two choices, you can either go by your clothing size according to the measurements given on the sizing chart, or you can select specific measurments: shoulders, chest, bust, under bust, even the length of your arm! eShakti clearly understands that our bodies are not all the same. Being able to customize your dress comes in handy when you land right in between two sizes or when your bust is a size 8 while your hips are a size 6.
Step 2: (not pictured) choose your height. A dress that is, for example, 145 cm long will fit differently on a 5’7″ gal than on a 5’4″, right?!
Step 3: Sleeves type, dress length, and neck line. Maybe you like a dress but you want it longer, do it! Don’t like the sleeves? Change them! Prefer a scoop neck line? Done!
eShakti and a wonderful dress
I must say that I love my dress!! Love, love, LOVE it! It is fun, girly, kind of retro, yet very me.
Their eye for detail is wonderful. From the invisible side zipper, to the embroidery and even a little clasp that will save you from any wardrobe malfunctions! I couldn’t have been any happier when I saw the tiny clasp button (what is its correct name?), seriosuly, my eyes lighted up when I saw it! I guess I am not very comfortable with my girls being out there. They are big as it is, they do not need any more attention thankyouverymuch!
Did I forget to mention the dress has pockets?! Well, it does!! And it makes the twirling that much more fun!

Where has this been all my life?!? As someone with really odd proportions, I’ve always had a terrible time finding nice clothing that fits properly and usually end up spending a fortune on tailoring to “make it work”…I’d love to have a custom piece and that dress is perfect on you!!!
