Way Better Snacks #Giveaway

My boys are snackers. Their favorite snacks? Apples for A., oranges (and Cuties) for J., and tortilla chips, crackers and cheese, and popcorn for both. I try to give them option outside of their preferred snacks but they still like to go back to their staples. While looking for something new I came across Way Better Snacks; they are still tortilla chips but they are a healthier option than the brand we buy.

Way Better Snacks

Way Better Snacks sets itself apart from all other tortilla chip snacks because they are healthy for your family. And as a mother we all know how important it is for our children to grow healthy, and in a safe and healthy environment.

Way Better Snacks use simple, sprouted ingredients: nutrient-dense grains and seeds (Broccoli and Daikon Radish, that provide natural antioxidants) that together make a great tasting snack. Each serving (1oz = 11 chips) has 130 calories and 17 grams of whole grains!

Benefits of sprouted ingredients:

    • Increased Vitamins and Minerals
    • Increased Digestibility
    • Increased Nutrient Absorption

Way Better Snacks  is certified Gluten Free, Non-GMO, Certified 100% Whole Grain, Kosher and Low Sodium. And it comes in 6 different flavors for everyone to enjoy:

Way Better Snacks – No Salt Naked Blues

Way Better Snacks - GiveawayThese chips have less sodium but are still full of flavor. They are good on their own but once you add some homemade creamy guacamole they are divine! Or how about some mango salsa?! I am making myself hungry!

Of course my boys were not interested on the No Salt Baked Blues because they are used to the salt on the chips we used to buy. That said, I am not a salt person at all! I rarely add salt to my cooking so my boys don’t get a lot of salt on their meals.

Way Better Snacks – Simply Beyond Black Bean

Way Better Snacks - GiveawayI have never really been into beans but I know how nutritious and good they are for our digestion. With two picky eaters I need every trick on the book to have them eat their veggies. I have added spinach to their smoothies (didn’t work out, too green for them), carrots and broccoli to their spaghetti sauce, and now beans in their chips!

With the Simply Beyond Black Beans chips you can taste a faint flavor of beans but it is not overwhelming. They are good. One of my top 3 favorite.

Way Better Snacks – Simply So Sweet Chili

Way Better Snacks - GiveawayDefinitely on my top 3. The Simply So Sweet Chili are sweet and spicy. They are dry, not juice spicy ,which I like.

Of course the boys didn’t even try them. They simply sniffed the chips and backed away as if the chips would lounge out the bag and bite their noses. It was pretty funny!

These are definitely not your everyday spicy chips. They reminded me of a mango/chile flavored chips from my childhood. Oh memories! I loved those chips! And now I like these too!

Way Better Snacks – Simply Sunny Multi-Grain

Way Better Snacks - GiveawayThese are my favorite!! With sprouted golden flax, chia, quinoa, radish seed, brown rice, and broccoli! Definitely the healthiest chip snack out there!

Even though they are full of seeds its flavor is simple. It is definitely not overwhelming. These I ate all by my self. One after the other, with no guacamole near by. They are good all by their lonesome selves. This is another reason why these are my favorite. You need no salsa, guacamole, or creamy cheese dips to eat them; they are good all by themselves, right out of the bag.

Way Better Snacks – Simply Sweet Potato

Way Better Snacks - Giveaway These were the first I opened and the smell was delicious!! I stood there for about a minute just sniffing the bag! The smell? Warm, sweet potatoes. And I am not a big fan of sweet potatoes, but these were definitely good!

My husband, on the other hand, did not like them. These were his least favorite.

Way Better Snacks – Simply Unbeatable Blues

Way Better Snacks - GiveawayTake the No Salt Naked Blues and add salt. These were my boys’ favorite. In part it was due to the salt they are used to, but I think the fact that these chips are blue helped a lot on their decision!! How often do you get to eat blue chips?! For a little kid this is awesome!
