To me, shoes are more about comfort than anything else. I guess this is the main reason why you will most likely never see me in 5 inch high heels; I do wear them but only in social occasions. I would rather be able to walk comfortably and enjoy my self than to only be able to think of how much my feet hurt, counting down the minutes until I can take my shoes off.
Often comfortable shoes are plain and boring. But that was until Cushe (pronounced ‘Cushy‘) added some style into comfort.
Cushe Slippers: Hellyer Moroccan
I got the opportunity of reviewing a pair of Cushe Slipper. They have so many great pairs of shoes that it was hard to just choose one. But after debating on whether to go with a pair of wedges or a pair of close-toed shoes I decided to go with the latter: the Hellyer in a Moroccan pattern.
- Upper Material: Premium canvas textile upper.
- Lining: Breathable canvas lining.
- In-Sock: Microfiber.
- Outsole: Moulded EVA with manuka honeycomb grip.
- …it is Spring in Bellingham which means showers, overcast skies, and sunny days are scarce.
- …I love the pattern: colorful, vibrant, fun, and Moroccan (their patterns are breath-takingly beautiful).
- …they look, and are, extremely comfortable!
- …they just screamed ME! when I saw them.
I’ve worn these shoes quite a lot, mostly when we go to the park. They are comfortable and they do not require socks…well, they might once it starts getting hot. But right now I can feel my feet breathe through the fabric; fresh, airy.
The shoes are light weight as well. They fit extremely weel to the point where I can sprint down the road (while pretending I am Captain Hook -or an Octopus- while I chase my boys around the playground). Not once have these shoes slipped out of my feet.
And even better….how about a giveaway?!
