Sandgrens Clogs: Etna Swedish Clogs

DISCLOSURE: THIS WAS NOT A PAID POST. THE OPINIONS STATED ARE MY OWN AND WERE IN NO WAY INFLUENCED BY THE COMPANY WHO GRACIOUSLY PROVIDED THE SWEDISH CLOGS FOR ME TO REVIEW.

Swedish ClogsI have always wanted to own a pair of swedish clogs, not the original yellow ones, but a pair more fashionable. I mean, I would still love to go to Sweden and but a pair of clogs carved by a Swedish artist, but those I might end displaying them on a bookshelf. Now, thanks to Sandgrens, I am the proud owner of a pair of swoon-worthy red clogs. Oh yeah, I went all out with this pair!

Swedish ClogsI had three different choices for my top clogs, but the Etna clogs, in red, won the race!! And, do you want to know what makes them even cooler? My 5 year old chose them!! That boy has an eye for good design and aesthetics.

So I got the clogs in the mail and instantly started drooling all over my carpet as I walked around my house in my new clogs. They look so good on, and they just make my legs look slender and longer (not that I need to add any height to my 5’7″ of tallness).

Swedish ClogsSandgrens Clogs Swedish Clogs Swedish Clogs - Etna These shoes even look pretty just sitting on the floor, don’t you think so?!

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to rock these clogs out, at least just yet. I wore them once, to go to the park. Spring in Bellingham is not all it is hyped out to be. We might get sun but we get even more rain. So it is either overcast, raining, or the grass is soggy thanks to the prior night’s shower. I just don’t want to stain my shoes (I really should look into getting something to protect them from the water). So every night they sit next to my nightstand, winking at me.

Clogs and Jeans Sandgrens Clogs Sandgrens Clogs So, yeah they look gorgeous on (and off) but little did I know that due to their shaped wood base they give support to your lower back! Yeah. Who would have thought?! Ever since I got pregnant with A. (who is know 5) I have been dealing, on and off, with lower back pain.

And, not only do they support your lower back, they also help align your spine, help with your posture and are orthopedically designed to support your feet. Which now makes me want to get even more clogs and ditch those pesky high heels that kill your lower back and feet. Besides, the base of the heel on a clog is thicker than a high heel, which helps with my balance and inability to properly walk with pumps.

These are super cute. I love them with jeans. Red is such a fun color for shoes, especially if you only have a hint of it in your outfit. It’s like a splash of excitement.

Wow, love the color! The studs actually remind me of a piece of furniture (which I happen to love, by the way!). The color is phenomenol! I never thought wood heels would help the lower back, but that’s great to know!
