WW – Learning to Dive

By Tuesday, June 25, 2013 36 , , , , Permalink 0

This is Mister J.’s very first attempt at jumping off the diving board. I never thought he would be so excited to jump in!!

This was A.’s second time jumping off the diving board…and what is most amazing is that he actually volunteered to go first! This is surprising since it was a week ago that he was terrified of water touching his face!

Well done. I’ll hold up the Olympic sign to rate the divers. What’s the highest? Nine or is it six?

Great for him! He did a great job. We don’t have much opportunity to go swimming around here, so my kids haven’t learned this yet.

YAY for your boys. I had to dive to pass PE in high school and thought I’d prefer to die. UGH!!! Not sure why, but jumping head first into anything defies human logic. So, no bungee jumping for me either. 🙂

I am OK with diving….it is the sensation of falling that scares me to death, so no bungee jumping, sky diving, parasailing for me!

I swim 3 times a week and know how scary that diving board can be. But it’s so much fun when you learn how.
