With two boys I have to remind myself to keep an eye on them 24/7. These two are crazy and love to be all over the place. And when you include an iPad to the mix, well…let’s just say that $250 later and the iPad’s got a new screen. Yikes. Never again! Who knew fixing that darn thing was going to be that expensive!? That’s why we have been on the look for a tablet case…as in, not really, really looking into getting one but like really, really contemplating it while keeping our eyes out just in case one happens to stumble down our path. Which is funny to say, that is just what happened when I was contacted by Papier de Maison!

Let me introduce you to Paier de Maison’s Plus Motif tablet case.

Papier de Maison: Plus Motif Tablet CasePlus Motif is a new line of table cases that are true to their promise of keeping your table safe. Whether you have an iPad, iPad mini, Kindle, any 7″ table or a traditional e-reader, Plus Motif is here to keep your device safe from hitting the floor!

Papier de Maison: Plus Motif Tablet Case

Papier de Maison: Plus Motif Tablet Case Papier de Maison: Plus Motif Tablet Case Papier de Maison: Plus Motif Tablet CaseI have come upon many cases like the Plus Motif. And with only 4 tiny elastic bands I have always been skeptical: does it really work? I have always been scared to try them out…specially after having to change the screen once already.

But…Sometimes I like it when I am proven wrong, specially in this kind of cases.

And with only 4 tiny elastic bands I have always been skeptical: does it really work? I have always been scared to try them out...specially after having to change the screen once already. But...I was surprised to find out that the elastic bands are quite snug. Of course, the more you pull them they start losing their elasticity, so I would recommend to try not to take the iPad off the case too often.

The final test was done once I prompted the tablet case with iPad inside. Phew, quite thankful the iPad stayed put!

Papier de Maison: Plus Motif Tablet Case Papier de Maison: Plus Motif Tablet CaseI will be honest, the Plus Motif is like many tablet cases out there. It comes padded to help absorb any impact that otherwise would struck your tablet. It also has a notepad (yei!!) and a stylus pen (double yei!! I mean, who doesn’t like pens?). So, yeah, it is like any other tablet case that folds.

What makes Plus Motif standout?

Papier de Maison: Plus Motif Tablet Case Papier de Maison: Plus Motif Tablet Case The Plus Motif tablet case can be customized to your style and liking! Yup…each case comes with an interchangeable attachments that make the Plus Motif cases even more you than any other case out there.

I was lucky to get my own case plus 2 of their many attachments:

Papier de Maison: Plus Motif Tablet AttachmentsPictured above are the turquoise attachment that came with the case, an attachment from their Fresh Collection as well as one from their Heart & Soul Collection.

I must say that I do not have a favorite. Which is fine, because depending on my mood that day I can go all fresh and flower or all bohemian romantic. Or maybe that day I feel turquoise.

Even though the iPd belongs to my husband this is a case I do not mind using at home or whenever I take the iPad with me. Yeah, you will never see my husband with this case on the iPad…he just won’t do it, even if it will keep his iPad safe from the ground. But boys will be boys and this girl loves girly, flowery, boho things that make life pretty and awesome.

The only negative?

Table CaseWell, the notepad is located on the wrong side. I am a righty, so I would have to go over the iPad to take notes. Of course, if you are a lefty this works wonderfully for you.

But then my brain clicked and I realized I can just flip the case over….Done! Problem solved.

These cases seem quite expensive but they are worth the cost when you figure what you have to spend in repair costs. I love the attachments that come with it to give it a little change without spending the extra money.

I have heard horror stories again and again from friends who have broken or cracked iPad screens. This seems like a stylish way to combat that problem!

First off, wow to how much it cost to fix an iPad screen. It was almost as much as an iPad itself! As for the pad, I really like the color. I also like how you can place your iPad in it and have paper for notes, etc. This would be perfect for a few Real Estate Agents I know! Thanks for sharing!

The iPads are just as expensive to buy as to repair. It was indeed a big OUCH! on our wallets.
