I love finding new brands that are trying to change the way we see food. Getting my picky eaters to eat veggies is such a battle. I have to bargain a single pea piece in exchange for a chocolate chip. At least they like their fruits. But thanks to Ruby’s Rockets now I can hide their daily serving of fruit and veggies into a popsicle. Woo hoo!!
Think of a frozen fruit and veggie smoothie all full of their goodness and you get Ruby’s Rockets.
Things we love about Rub’y Rockets:
- Ruby’s Rockets are all natural which makes them super healthy!
- Each pop has less than 35 calories per pop with less than 2 grams of sugar.
- No Artificial Colors or Flavors
- Dairy Free, GMO Free, and Gluten Free
Plus each pop contains probiotics which offer immune and digestive support when included as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
So not only are my boys getting their fruit and veggies ratios they are also helping their immune and digestive system every time they have a Ruby’s Rocket popsicle. Brilliant!
And, do you know who came up with this amaxing product? Ruby, the 8 year old daughter of Broadway/TV/film actress Wendy Makkena.
We got the opportunity of trying Ruby’s Rockets Pops and I just cannot share with you guys just how much I love them. Finding a product that is low on sugar, great tasting, and good for your health is not easy. Plus, add the fact that my boys love them, I just can’t boast enough about them!
Fruit and Veggie Popsicles for Kids
A. first tried the Rocket Red and he was undecided. At first he was really excited that he was eating a popsicle. Kids love popsicles!
He ate half and I ate the other half. I loved it!! I am not one to eat popsicles because I have sensitive teeth but I still ate this popsicle either way. The popsicle was sweet but i could still taste the beets. It was like an after taste, but it was not bad at all (and it is something because I hate beets). If your kid has never tasted beets I doubt s/he will even notice it.
This one was my favorite.
This flavor was the least liked. Actually, A. threw the popsicle away. It was not because of the flavor, I think the taste was just fine because he took a few bites off it. But once he saw the popsicle he decided he was more than done with it.
So, flavor was good. Looks, not so much. Maybe if the spinach was pureed and not visible he would have eaten the whole popsicle.
J. only showed interest on the Orbit Orange Popsicles. Hey, orange is way better than red and green together, right?! At least that is what he thinks. He loved…no. He LOVED the orange flavored popsicle so much he asked me for seconds! The fact that these pops are healthy I just couldn’t say no!
Taste wise? Have you ever made your own orange juice with both sour and sweet oranges? Yes? That is what this popsicle tastes like. But it still has sweet potatoes, carrots and lemon. It was delicious.
I truly recommend Ruby’s Rockets. If you have picky eaters who play with their veggies instead of actually eating them, Ruby’s Rockets are for you! They are healthy, natural, vegan, and gluten free!!
