Diamond Candles Giveaway

Diamond Candles GiveawayAs far as I can remember there were no candles at my house while growing up. We did have taper candles which only get used when the light went out. But we did not have any decorative, let alone, any scented candles. I guess this is the main reason why I rarely buy candles. And after working at Pier 1 in the candle department I have avoided scented candles (daily migraines suck). But it has all changed in the past few 12 months or so. Although it was not my purchase, we started with the amazingly scented apple and cinnamon candles: Christmas time! This summer I got a blueberry scented candle. And for the Fall I got the perfect candle: a Diamond Candles Cinnamon Roll candle.

Diamond Candles When I was contacted to work along Diamond Candles I just couldn’t turn it down. Ever since they first came into the market I wanted to work with them. The idea behind this company is brilliant: A Ring in Every Candle.

Choosing a candle was a tough decision. I wanted to go with an apple-cinnamon scented candle but found none. The closest to it was already sold out (and I bet more will come out soon as we near the holidays). Then I thought I should go with a fruity scent, but it is not summer anymore. So after a good thirty minutes of going back and forth between candles I went with the Cinnamon Roll Candle…and I am glad that I did!

Diamond Candles Giveaway Diamond Candles GiveawayThe very day this candle came in the mail it was quick lit. The smell is divine. Subtle but there. Only con, it made me crave Cinnamon Rolls!! It smells that amazing!

Of course, from day one, I was anxious to see what my treasure would be! Would it be a emerald? or a diamond? Or how about a topaz?

Diamond Candles GiveawayAfter the first use I wondered how many days it would take to get to the treasure. As you can see on the photo above, it took me more than one use (that layer of light orange was from its first use).

I then decided I would let the candle run its course…but failed -miserably.

Diamond Candles Giveaway As soon as I saw the golden foil I just had to dig in. I thought that bobby pins would be a good idea…don’t. I made a cinnamon-y mess on my kitchen counter.

So I brought in the tough guns: my old tweezers that don’t work any more. Dug, and dug some more. And a bit more…

Treasure Acquired! At this point my fingers (and finger nails) were covered with candle wax -in part thanks to my bobby pin fiasco. But it was time to get my hands on my treasure!!

Diamond Candles – The Reveal

Diamond Candles - The Reveal It was not a topaz, a diamond, or an emerald. But it does look like a beautiful Garnet. I guess this candle -and ring- were meant for me. See, I am a January baby, and my stone is the Garnet.

Diamond Candles Diamond Candles It was not one of the big rings. It is not a $1,000 ring but I still love it. It fits perfectly on my middle finger. Even though it is not a big winner it is a great ring to add to my collection.
