The Hunger Games: Catching Fire #Giveaway

It is almost that time of the year! You know, the time where The Hunger Games: Catching Fire finally comes out in theaters.

For everyone’s sake I will pretend that you know about The Hunger Games….and I’ll send you 10 brownie points if you have seen the first movie, and 50 more if you have read the books!

You have guessed right: I love The Hunger Games series! The books and the movies. It is great to finally have a strong role model for young girls, one that will go far and beyond for what he believes.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever. My favorite character from The Hunger Games trilogy is Finnick Odair. I love that there’s much more to him than meets the eye. When Katniss first meets him, she dismisses him as a heartthrob who enjoys making people swoon over him. She has no idea of the trials and tribulations he faced even after winning the Games, or that he’s madly in love with a girl back home.

Katniss is my favorite, because even though she goes through the Hunger Games twice and becomes the face of the rebellion, deep down she’s still just a teenage girl trying to save her family.
