Destination Weddings

And I will always love you.

Perhaps the two most-used adjectives to describe Palm Beach are “luxurious” and “romantic”, making it the perfect city for those seeking a unique and romantic wedding location. But if you are planning your special day here, it is easy to get overwhelmed by the hundreds of different hotels, museums, natural settings, and beaches available for rentals. But if you want something truly exceptional, magical and amazing, your search will not last long. You will find your perfect Palm Beach wedding.

Destination Wedding - Palm BeachFor example, in Palm Beach you can take for rent as a wedding venue a museum of national scale. Norton Museum is a majestic place for a wedding, due to its gentle and touching history and astoundingly beautiful interior. The museum was founded in 1941 by Ralph Hubbard Norton and his first wife, Elizabeth Calhoun Norton. Norton, the former head of a large company, moved to West Palm Beach upon retirement and decided to share his sizable collection of paintings and sculpture with wide audience. The late Art Deco and even somewhere Neoclassical building designed by Marion Sims Wyeth opened its doors to the public on February 8, 1941. Its mission statement is “to preserve for the future the beautiful things of the past.” The Norton Museum has been recognized internationally for its traveling exhibitions and collections of over 7,000 works, including European Impressionists and modern masters, American art from 1900 to the present, and an extensive collection of photography. The Chinese collection offers superb examples of carved jades and bronze vessels and the contemporary collection embraces art from the 1960′s to today. Year round, the Norton Museum presents engaging and exciting talks, concerts, and programs for children and adults. The wing includes 14 new galleries, an enclosed courtyard to accommodate a variety of educational and social events, a glass ceiling installation commissioned from Dale Chihuly, a cantilevered spiral staircase, and three-story atrium designed to evoke the museum’s art. All of these exceptional locations can become a place for your extraordinary wedding. And the atmosphere of the art museum will give your wedding elegance and sophistication with a slight touch of extravagance.

Destination Wedding - MexicoHere is yet another, slightly unusual wedding venue, consigned for couples with authentically wild spirit. The Palm Beach Zoo is a non-profit zoological organization located at Dreher Park in West Palm Beach. The Zoo houses over 1,400 animals within 23-acres of lush tropical habitat. The Palm Beach Zoo is a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The Zoological Society of the Palm Beaches exists to protect wildlife and wildlife habitat, and to inspire others to value and conserve the natural world. Come enjoy a taste of the Tropics Café. Tucked away on the shores of beautiful Baker Lake in the heart of the Palm Beach Zoo, The Topics Café is a lush hideaway offering a variety of menu and event options in a unique tropical environment – truly a feast for all the senses. Your guests will be delighted by the Amazon River Basin theme, tiki torches and exotic animal encounters. The night sounds of the zoo will enchant your guests, and the lushly landscaped grounds create a natural setting of unmatched beauty. Imagine an evening wedding on the floating stage on Baker Lake as hundreds of white ibis and egrets settle silently on the tree branches surrounding the water. Guests can watch the ceremony from the theater-style seats or from the Café Deck. The full-service restaurant can serve a seated dinner or a casual buffet, followed by dancing under the stars. The zoo is also a great location for unique corporate parties that break away from the ordinary. Adults who are bored with hotel ballrooms and the same old clubs will get an enormous kick out of a Palm Beach Zoo corporate event. To celebrate birthdays, kids of all ages will love having their parties at the Palm Beach Zoo, and it’s the most exciting choice for Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs. The restaurant and catering facilities are state-of-the-art and our professional staff is always available to assist with planning an extraordinary special event.

So, in all of America is merely impossible to find a city that would be as much imbued with romance, like Palm Beach. Its enticing fog and glittering lights, reflecting on the trembling surface of the Bay, its glorious bridges, which pass the streams of love through the city, like the veins pass the blood – all of this makes Palm Beach if not the best of the best, but certainly one of the best places for the most romantic, most memorable wedding of all.

I love the idea of getting married at a museum, cool and unique! But I would still want a church wedding and then have the reception in one of those you’ve mentioned, well, probably the Jupiter Inlet.
