** I RECEIVED THE MENTIONED PRODUCT FOR FREE IN ORDER TO FACILITATE THIS REVIEW. ALL OPINIONS ARE 100% MY OWN

We’ve all found ourselves blankly staring at the pantry/fridge because we have the munchies and just can’t figure out what to eat. For some sweets is the only way to go, for others it is salty snacks that satiate them. I am glad to say that I my munchies are the salty and spicy kind! But still, I often find myself not having anything salty or spicy to eat or end up having Doritos with hot sauce and a splash of lime. Not very healthy, huh? Thankfully I have discovered a line of snacks that are healthy and made form natural ingredients: Simply 7 Snacks.

Simply 7 Snacks was born due to the vast amount of unhealthy snacks in all our homes. You know, those that have unpronounceable ingredients that we can only hope are natural but come with a fancy name. Every single ingredients on all Simply 7 Snacks is natural and simple, with 0 grams of trans fats, no artificial colors or flavors, no additives or preservatives…and all delicious!

We received a great care package from Simply 7 Snacks and my tummy has been happy ever since!! These are the flavors we received:

Simply 7 – Pomegranate Chips

Simply 7 Snacks - Pomegranate ChipsThese chips use pomegranate as their main ingredient. Pomegranates are rich in antioxidants (which are body’s major defense against free radicals and oxidative stress). Not only are pomegranates good for you but they have vitamin C, vitamin B, and potassium.

Pomegranate Chips flavors:

  • Black Pepper
  • Sea Salt
  • White Cheddar

Each flavor compliments the sweet flavor of the pomegranate to a t. My favorite though has to be, hands down, the White Cheddar.

Simply 7 Snacks - Pomegranate Chips  The taste was rich but not overly dominant. The texture is soft but still crunchy. The White Cheddar chips really reminded me of cheddar Ruffles. If I were given the option of eating either Simply 7 Snacks Pomegranate Chips – White Cheddar or cheddar Ruffles, I would definitely choose Simply 7 Snacks! you might think I am being biased, but after eating the entire bag of White Cheddar Pomegranate Chips I did not feel bloated or sluggish. I felt just fine. OK maybe a bit guilty for eating the entire bag all by myself.

Simply 7 – Lentil Chips

Simply 7 Snacks - Lentil ChipsLentils are a main ingredient of the Mediterranean diet due to their  rich nutritional attributed. Lentils are a great source of Fiber, Folic Acid, Iron, Magnesium, Potassium, Vitamin B6, Zinc, among others. All these nutrients are part of these Lentil Chips! Couldn’t get healthier than that, huh?!

Lentil Chips Flavors:

  • Jalapeno
  • Sea Salt
  • Bruschetta
  • Creamy Dill

The Lentil Chips offered a smoother texture which reminded me of my mom’s favorite snacks back home.

Simply 7 Snacks - Lentil Chips My favorite was the Sea Salt flavor. My favorite way to eat it? With hot sauce and a splash of lime, oh yeah! So many good memories from growing up….yeah, I am surprised I have never had an ulcer in my life!

My least favorite were the Creamy Dill…too salty for me. Still edible, I just had to choose a least favorite.

Simply 7 – Hummus Chips

Simply 7 Snacks - Hummus ChipsThe Hummus Chips’ main ingredient is the chickpea, one of the world’s healthiest foods.Chickpeas contain a large amount of protein, fiber, iron, and manganese.

Hummus Chips flavors:

  • Spicy Chili Pepper
  • Roasted Red Pepper
  • Sea Salt
  • Tomato Basil

Like the other too, the Hummus Chips have their very own texture. They are more rugged but just as delicious as the others.

Simply 7 Snacks - Hummus Chips  My favorite were the Tomato Basil which remind me of Lay’s Tomato Basil. Only difference, besides the texture, is the slight hint of hummus flavor in the chips. It is so faint that if you didn’t know garbanzo beans are the main ingredient you wouldn’t even notice it. Or you might, but couldn’t exactly pin point what it is.

These were A.’s favorite. He even got to take some to school for his lunch.

All in all, we love Simply 7 Snacks. They are natural, healthy, and good for you. An entire bag, all 5 ounces, has only 600 calories. That makes it 150 calories a serving.
