I have never been a fan of going outside in the dark on my own, not even to the corner stone. I get a bit paranoid and it makes me nervous and anxious, so I try to avoid being out in the dark on my own. But this is slowly changing thanks to React Mobile and their amazing safety app for Android and iPhone.
I am sure that some of you have already heard of how great an app React Mobile. To me, it will symbolize piece of mind to not only me but my loved ones as well.
Safe and Sound with React Mobile
When you download React Mobile, which by the way is a free app, you will be prompted to setup the app with all your information. This setup is a breeze and it looks like this (click images to enlarge):
Using it is even easier.
When out and about simply open the app and click on the shield at the very sign of danger. The app will prompt you to call 911 Emergency Dispatch where you can choose between agreeing or canceling (please remember that 911 is for emergencies only, if your situation does not require immediate response, please do not call them and send an SOS to your contact list instead).
React Mobile – My thoughts
As I was testing the app out I accidentally sent an SOS to both my husband and mother-in-law. Soon after my husband got a call from my MIL wondering if everything was OK because she just got a message from my phone. Oops. So I decided to test it myself. I removed all my contacts and added only my phone number. I activated my phone, without calling 911 -I really don’t want them knocking on my door- and within seconds I received a text:
There it goes, it works! A simple “SOS” message will make those in your contact list alert of your situation and they’ll be on their feet looking for you or trying to figure out what is going wrong.
React Mobile is for sure staying on my iPhone until the end of time. I can now venture into the dark knowing that I will be safe and that if anything happens I can let those I love know about it.
