Weekend Links

Birthday Weekend LinksI just turned 29! This is my last year as a twenty-something. Although, based on technicalities, and who has time for those, I am living year 30 of my life. But I am staying at 29. 29 sounds waaaay better than 30, doesn’t it?!

—- On to our Weekend Links! —-

I got married at 22. These are 23 Things I Still Can Do After Getting Married at 22. I couldn’t have said it better.

Great appetizer ideas: sausage stuffed mushrooms and jalapeño chicken wraps (with bacon).

She is a mother of three. A surrogate of one. And this is her surrogacy story  (a must-read).

Wishlist: for my camera, for my keys, and for my feet.

Definitely making a few of these lovely coffee filter flowers for my office.

Don’t have a baby. Babies ruin bodies. But my body has never looked, or felt, better since having my boys.

These are exactly my thoughts on feminism.

I am joining Toni’s 2014 Reading Challenge, and so should you!

Drinking a pot of coffee a day is good after all: Caffeine May Improve Memory. Bring me more coffee!!

A picture says a thousand words. This shirt expresses how I feel right now. Reason No.1 for my heavy coffee drinking.

I could stare at this and this and this all day long. It is mesmerizing.

Here are 6 reasons to have 6 kids. And I am going crazy with only 2!

I just printed 191 photos (of 568 I actually wanted to print). Here are some tips for organizing and storing photos.

What city should you live in? Mine: Portland! Oh yeah.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

That article is a response to a list made by a 23 year old ranting about how dumb it is to marry at 22…make sure to check them both out!

Happy Birthday! I said the same thing. I’m living the rest of my life as a 29 year old. I had the biggest emotional battle when I was 29 for the 2nd year in a row. That was a very hard birthday. I much prefer the 29 year.

There should be nothing after 29! Or I can always follow my late grandma’s example: she went backwards every year! So next year I could be 28!

Also, I love that you have separate wishlists, such as one for your feet.

Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed reading it! I was married at 26 and am now 33. I think you will find when you get older that 30 is still quite young you just have different priorities. I have always wanted more kids but do find that 2 is a lot sometimes. I am unsure how my mom did it as she had 6 of us!

I totally celebrated turning 30. I was so so excited to leave my 20s behind and start a new decade. This year I’ll be 47 and I’m absolutely loving it.

And I got Barcelona for my city? Which I think is really bizarre.
