What motherhood has taught me

  • Your baby’s laugh will brighten your day no matter how down you may feel
  • As disgusting as this may sound, you’ll recognize the smell of your baby’s poo in a room full of babies. Ok, I haven’t been in a room full of kids…max there were only 4, sheesh!
  • You’ll feel the pain when your baby’s teething. Baby will start waking up at night, again, and will make sure to wake up the whole neighborhood!
  • There isn’t anything sweeter than the word ‘mom’ (and its variations) coming from your baby’s mouth.
  • And what else could be better than being woke up early in the morning by a faint ‘momma’ down the hall?
  • Your babies will always come first, no matter what.
  • You will want to squeeze their cheeks and kiss them 24/7
  • Kids get fed up after mommy keeps snapping photos of them over and over and over again, pretty much 24/7, yeah even in their sleep!
  • There will be times when your kids will get in trouble but you won’t be able to contain your laughter so they’ll get away with it! Or they might simply think you are nuts!
  • Diaper wipes are great for cleaning leather couches!
  • Poop comes in a variety of colors.
  • Heartburn, while pregnant, does not mean your baby will be born with a full head of hair! I have proof!! I ahd heartburn for 6 months and this is my boy the day he was born:
  • It is safe for babies to sleep on their bellies!
  • Kids have a heart of gold!
  • No matter how mad you are, your kids will always make you laugh!
  • There is no such thing as baby proof, ask our coffee table:
  • Yes, the table had those puffy corner thingys that later where taken off by A and well, ^ this happened!

  • Sloppy kisses are the best!
  • Bear hugs are to die for!
  • Brothers, no matter the fights, will always love each other!

Will you please tell my sons that “Brothers, no matter the fights, will always love each other!” They haven’t learned that lesson yet.
Love the photo of your son chewing on the corner of your coffee table. You should have seen our old coffee table once my kids had finished with it. I wish I had a photo to share with you because it would have made you laugh.
I really enjoyed reading this post.
