Things I learned today

By Sunday, September 19, 2010 14 Permalink 0

…and over the week:

  • Don’t take things too personal.
  • Do not read between the lines.
  • I am in serious need of a new laptop. this desktop is almost obsolete… OK not really, but it is really slow!
  • J is a strong 10 month old boy who can handle anything.
  • A is a dork! As of yesterday I am mommy-o and Ty is daddy-o! Where did he get it, I have no clue!
  • Scratch is a pretty quiet boy. He barely barks! He whines some times when he is stuck behind a gate or a door and he wants out (but not when he wants to go outside to go potty…). But he does bark at signs though!
  • Slugs still are and will always be GROSS!
  • A. thinks every little living thing that moves is a bug, including slugs and worms aka woms
  • J said A*** last Saturday!! I wasn’t there. But Ty told me all about it!! Oh so cute!
  • And talking about J talking…hehehe, forgive the redundancy…I really can’t remember when was the last time I heard J. say ‘mom’ (and any of the variations). All he says now is dad, dada, daddy, being the last one, daddy, his favorite!
  • J just moved in his crib and smacked his head.

I’m with ya on the slugs…GROSS! Unless of course they’re in a shell broiled with lots of garlic and butter, cuz then they’re pretty tasty and expensively known as escargots!

    Lots of yummy love,

The slug one reminded me of my sister’s dog. She said he came inside one day and had slime all over his muzzle and in his nose. He had eaten a huge slug in the backyard. Blech! It took a while to get the goo off.

    These always crack me up!

I need a new laptop 2. I got a Mac Book and freaked out and returned it. Then I got a Vivienne Tam HP and it was too small so I returned that too. Now I’m just using an old one that may die at any second. Which are you getting?

Why did you return your macbook?! We are thinking about getting a macbook (one for me and one for my husband)…was there anything wrong with it??
