The worst thing about shaving are those pesky ingrown hairs that can hurts quite a lot, specially if the come out on the bikini area.
A few days ago I was looking for home remedies for ingrown hairs and there was this one that caught my eye: stop shaving altogether! Yeah, right! Completely gross. If you are a man OK go ahead. But I am a girly girl who doesn’t like being hairy! And I am not French (with all due respect to you French ladies), so I pass! Thankyouverymuch…
About a week ago I got the opportunity of reviewing Prince Reigns’ Ingrown Hair Serum.
The Prince Reigns Ingrown Hair Serum:
- reduces ingrown hairs by softening the hair follicle
- prevents future ingrown hairs by straightening the hair follicle
- controls excess oil, lessening the chance of pore clogging
- does not cause acne or blackheads
- contains fruit acids which lighten dark spots resulting in an even skin tone
The Prince Reigns Ingrown Hair Serum contains Glycolic Acid aka fruit acids or alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA). The Glycolic Acid is considered a natural product due to being derived from sugar canes. It is a natural exfoliant and moisturizer that keeps the pores clear by going under the damaged upper layers of skin and destroying what holds dead skin to the surface. A secondary benefit is glycolic acid’s ability to draw moisturizers into the newly-exfoliated skin surface
Being that the serum contains an acid ingredient I thought it was going to sting or hurt in some way but it didn’t. the serum also contains soothing ingredients like Lavender, Sage and Chamomile. Still, be really careful and try not to cut yourself ’cause that is when it will sting! (Been there, done that, oops!)
I have been using it on and off, though it’d be better if I used it every day. But it works and I really like it. After so many years of looking for a product to help remove those bumps I am so sticking to this one!
I could ask my husband to try it, but well, he doesn’t grow that much hair, which leads to not having to shade every single day which then leads to probably no ingrown hairs. And if there are ever any, they’d appear once every full moon, if ever at all!
And before I leave you guys I must say that I love the presentation of the serum! It’s so contemporary and appealing! So, ladies and gentlemen, I truly recommend that you give the Prince Reign Ingrown Hair Serum a try! You won’t regret it!
