I am a proud nursing Mom. For me nursing is a way to bond with my babies. Run my fingers on their hair, while one of his hands tickles my back. I love nursing. I remember very well the first day I nursed in public. I did not have a cover then so I brought A’s sheets and wrapped myself and him in it. It looked like my upper body was in a tepee!! I am now nursing J, and I still do not have one of those huge curtains to cover me and J while I nurse.
At first a simple sheet or blanket would work just fine, still I couldn’t really see him unless I’d stick my head under the blanket. This was until little J decided to start pulling the blanket off. And every time he did so he’d smile. He has been a goof since day one.
Thankfully I just learned about Baby Bond.
After having four babies, my closet was full of nursing tops that were not flattering and quite pricey. In December, 2006 during a 2 am feeding, I envisioned a nursing accessory that would cover mom but not her baby. The next morning, I cut and sewed one of my husband’s t-shirts into the prototype for the Slurp & Burp®. Since then, I have designed three product lines to meet the needs of a variety of nursing moms and babies. We have since rebranded to BabyBond™, a name that highlights the primary benefit of our products.

For review I received the Baby Bond Flex.
In my mind the taking of me using the BabyBond Flex went way smoother. J seemed to know what was happening ’cause all he did was laugh!! He’d look at me and smile and then giggle. Then he’d smile and giggle to the camera!! He is extremely silly!
The Baby Bond Flex is worn just like a sash. With the Flex you’ll have to nurse from the top of your shirt. The sash has a double panel which allows for the breast to be hidden behind it and allowing for the baby to latch on. The BabyBond Flex also comes with a removable 9 x 12″ double layer terry velour burp cloth (other cloths can be used as well).
I sincerely recommend the Baby Bond to all nursing moms. I truly enjoy being able to keep eye contact with my boy while he nurses, specially if this means I don’t have to stick my head under the blanket and get my hair all messed up!
