Chickenpox, can it be?

It looks like J has Chickenpox! As I was getting him dressed after his shower I noticed some red bumps that look like bug bites in the back of his legs. Had to Google it.

So according to why I found, Chickenpox starts as a small rash on the upper body and a few hours after you get a fever and the Chickenpox spreads all over the body.

I had chickenpox when I was 2 years old, back when we were living in Cancun. And I have a scar to prove it!

I just wonder, where did he catch it? Last place we went was last Sunday for our Christmas tree and that is all!

Can you catch Chickenpox out of thin air? Or is that rash something else?

I got the chicken pox in 8th grade and from what I remember I had a rash and fever and slept but I felt cold. I have no idea were I caught it from 🙂 but it wasn’t as bad as people made it out to be.

If it is chickenpox, he’ll have much better immunity by the end of it than a vaccine can provide. And it rarely causes complications. If I lived closer, I’d ask to come over for a visit with my kids!!

If the rash turns into little blistery looking things then it’s the chicken pox… how id J this morning?

Thanks for the comments! It was not chickenpox! The rash is almost gone now…funny thing is, now A. is getting the same type of rash in the exact same spot! Odd…

From what I remember just being around someone who has it.. I got it from my sister who got it from someone at school and then my brother got it.
My twins sometimes get a rash when they’re around perfumy things, things with dye etc.
