Verterra Dinnerware {Review}

I cannot say I do not like to wash dishes. I mean, it is not my favorite chore but it is way better than doing the laundry, folding clothes or even cleaning toilets. Still, I don’t like how my hands feel after I wash the dishes.

I have never been one to buy disposable plates. They are ugly and a waste. But I have had my mind changed on the matter!

There are some absolutely amazing paper plates out there on the market. If you’re like me, and don’t want to do the dishes after throwing a party or event, then this is the perfect thing for your next get-together: Paper Plates | Paper Eskimo. Not to mention, they’re not ugly. They’re actually beautiful too.

Another brand we love is:

No, I still think that disposable paper plates are ugly. I am actually talking about: Verterra Dinnerware, which I have had the opportunity to review.

Founded on the belief that it’s possible to combine high design with the highest standards of environmental responsibility,  VerTerra now redefines what stylish, sustainable and compostable disposable dinnerware can be. Thoughtfully and beautifully designed, VerTerra offers a chic touch of nature to each table.  Durable and versatile, VerTerra is lightweight yet sturdy and stands up to hot foods, hot/cold liquids, the hot sun and can even used to bake in the oven, store in the fridge and reheat in the microwave.”

The plates are simply stunning. You can see and feel the texture of the leaf. But, how do they do it?

{ I still have to compost mine! }

Other perks, besides being chic and eco-friendly, are that you can reuse them up to 12 times! Just make sure to wash it by hand with a mil eco-friendly soap. The Verterra collection is oven (350 F ° for up to 45 minutes without any buckling or wrapping) and microwave safe, however they are not dishwasher safe.

I truly recommend you give them a try. You won’t regret it! I like them so much that I am saving some to use around the house as decor! I am using one of the bowl to put on my vanity to gorgeously display my jewelry in! And hopefully I will be able to put another Verterra plate on my coffee table! Wishful thinking…
