Caspar Babypants ‘This is Fun’ {Review/Giveaway}

A. has always been on the move. Dancing has been his favorite thing to do since I can remember! J., on the other hand, hasn’t been that much about dancing, at all!

But, there’s always a first, right? I’ll come back to this in a bit. First, let me introduce you to Caspar Babypants.

Caspar Babypants, who also goes by the name of Chris Ballew, is the lead singer and songwriter for The Presidents of the United States of America, a rock and roll band that sings about a frog, a kitty, a dune buggy, peaches and a lump. And in all honest I’ve never heard of them but they sound so cool!! I mean, how many rock and roll bands sing about dune buggies and lumps!

Nowadays he makes music for the kidos! And he was so gracious to let us review his most recent work: “This is Fun” which is currently playing in the background…of my keyboard?!

Kids music tends to be quite annoying but I love this album! LOVE it!! At times he reminds me of Jack Johnson, whom I love! Even A. likes him!! It is pretty easy to listen to. The lyrics are so silly and the music seriously makes you drop what you are doing to get up and dance with your little ones! Which brings us to J. and his dancing. Before “This is Fun” played in our house J. did not dance. Dance for him meant clap. But now HE DANCES!! And it all started with Caspar Babypants!!

J.’s favorite song is “All You Pretty Babies”. He’ll stop and dance!! Love it! A. likes this song as well but he won’t really dance to it. Whenever the song says ‘stomping on the floor {stomp, stomp}” he’ll drop whatever he’s doing and he’ll stomp his feet on the floor and then he’ll move on like nothing happened!!

All You Pretty Babies is one of my favorites as well. “Googly Eyes” and “The Legend of the Bone” is another song I really like.

Hands down, LOVE Caspar Babypants! Can’t wait to get the rest of his albums.
