It SNOWed!

It finally did!! We got snow!! We all got our jackets and hats on and went on a early walk (poor Scratch did not go potty at all due to the snow)!

A. had so much fun! I remember his very first day on the snow. He was only 7 months old back in 2008 when Portland had a huge blizzard. I remember he cried when he touched it, with gloves, of course!

He loves it so much now. He would make snowballs and throw them at daddy, because daddy got him first. On the face.

He would take a few steps, squat down, make a snow ball and throw it at whomever was the closest. Which most of the time ment daddy since J. decided to take off running down the street.

J did not care at all about the snow. He was so content with, finally, being able to go with mommy on her morning walks! He simply started walking and there was nothing to stop him. Except for the random car passing down the street. Though, now that I think of it, he’d stop, look behind him and yell at A. and daddy who were being left behind!! So adorable!

On our way back home Tyler taught A. how to make snow angels! And I must confess, I have never ever made a snow angel…hmm, guess I’ll have to add snow angels to my bucket list!

What do you guys do on a snow day!?

Living up in Kitsap County area (Olympic Peninsula), we usually get the storm..everyone but us got hammered!! We have had a pretty uneventful winter 🙁 if any snow falls, it disappears in less than a day!

The first day of snow is awesome, its all powdery and fun! Then when it gets to like -13 below, the snow turns hard and crunchy and throwing a snowball after that could literally cut someone’s eye up! LOL!

So we tend to stay inside, but J did get a chance to play in snow this year. I have it on video….I should share it on my blog soon. 🙂

Looks like they had a ton of fun.
