ToiletTree Fogless Mirror {Review/Giveaway}

I rarely get a chance to shower early in the morning. Most of the times I have to shower either while the boys are sleeping or late at night. Rarely do the boys nap at the same time. It is more of a J.-wakes-up-as-soon-as-A.-falls-asleep sort of nap. But there are the rare times when I have the chance to enjoy a shower, by myself (they sometimes join me with like 6 bottles to play with the water).

Plenty of times I shower with my make up on and all I can think of while washing my face is “Darn, my face is going to be completely black now!” There’s times when the mascara is running down my face and I have to guess where it is and scrub my face to get it off…or I use a towel, hehe.

I now have a ToiletTree Fogless Mirror in my shower’s wall. Before I thought there was no practical use to having one…but now that it sits on my wall I can find plenty of uses! Now there’s no more need to guess where the runaway mascara is! I can tweeze my eyebrows…haven’t done this one yet since I have myopia I have to stand as close as possible to the mirror…which reminds me that I have to go get my eyes checked.

Features include:

Shatter proof high quality acrylic fogless mirror
Adheres to virtually any wall surface with removable silicon adhesives
Easily adjustable bracket accommodates multiple users and angles
Built in shelf to store your razor, sponge or tweezers
Squeegee included to wipe away excess water drops
Designed not to rust, discolor or damage bathroom surfaces
Measures 6.5in x 8.5in x 1.5in and weighs only 1 pound

Tyler installed the mirror for me and he told me it was pretty simple to install and that we had to wait a full 24 hours to be able to use it. You know, so that the glue will have time to dry completely.

The first time we used Tyler put cold water in the back of the mirror. I remember he said that there was no way a true fogless mirror existed. I told him that it has to work. I jumped in the shower right after him and it did not work. I asked if he put hot water in it, like you should (but men do not read instructions). He went on again on how it was still not going to work. I poured the cold water out and poured hot water in and surprise! it worked!! So ladies, it does work…just pour HOT water in it (“the water neutralizes the mirror and air temperature to eliminate fogging”)…use your squeege and shower away!

The mirror is adjustable and can also be removed…which is awesome since you might start tweezing your eyebrows and then you might want to move to the armpits…so instead of standing on your tip toes you can simply lower the mirror! And after you are done with the face and armpits you might want to move to the bikini area…which is a dread to take care of since you are doing most the work simply guessing. This is where you remove the mirror and go on with your grooming! I have still do try this…since I rarely have more than 10 minutes by my lonesome self…one of these days I’ll sneak to the shower…one of these days…

The mirror attached to any wall, so maybe you prefer to put it near your bathtub. Just one thing…make sure to place the mirror on the opposite wall of the shower head!

I simply love the mirror. I never thought I would find so many uses for a fogless mirror in my shower! Ooh, and if you have a radio in your bathroom you can totally sing to the top of your lungs and watch your self be silly…like on Easy A, when the girl is singing in the shower!! Hehehehe
