I have never been one to have resolutions. And, yeah, I know that it is a bit too late into the year to be talking about them. But I have decided to put both my mind and body into a new challenge. Often times I find myself wanting a flat tummy and firmer arms but that’s where it stops. I don’t try to fix it, I simply think about it. And I have decided that it is time for me to put those thoughts into action and actually do something.
After having two babies my tummy is not what it used to be. I honestly don’t mind the stretch mark (I barely got them and only one is visible…and it is quite large and blue). I used to have a flat tummy and I miss it. I sometimes wear shapewear to help hide the tummy but it is not the same. I often times find myself tugging it upwards and well, this beats the purpose, right!?
The arms don’t look bad at all! I just want to tone them, but not like Madonna’s arms. Yucks! It is mostly my midriff area that need the most work. The legs are toned, but could be better. Same with the calves, tones but wouldn’t mind them to be even more toned.
I always get compliments for my butt. My mother in law says it is a cute little butt *blush* hehehe. But I wouldn’t mind a firmer butt…is it OK with you guys if I call it butt? Or do you like bottom better? Hmm…moving on…
Here’s where I want to go hide under my bed and never come out. When you look sideways it simply looks…ugly. I often look sideways on the mirror and hide the belly right away. And lets not talk how the tummy looks while I am sitting down. A huge bulge. I don’t like it. I am not satisfied with the way it looks. I also want that awful double chin gone! I call it a lack of space between my jaw and neck…anybody know of any chin exercises?
And even with that belly you can still see the ribs sticking out! Those suckers were very helpful while bearing babies! Why? Well they allowed for some extra help. Maybe that’s why A. was 10lbs 12oz when he was born!
As I look at this photos of me I can’t help but to challenge myself to a 30 day Fitness Challenge.
