You know that feeling you get when your favorite chocolate bar, which you slowly enjoyed over the span of a few days, is suddenly gone? Like for ever?! And it is never coming back! No more fingers to lick…*breathe, breathe8. Well, I am going through this. And it is so hard to endure…specially ’cause I have no other chocolate bars at the moment…
Back to our post…Let me share with you my newest inductee to the Chocolate Hall of Fame: Choccreate Chocolates! Never heard of them?! Say what!? Well, no need to fret, I’ll share with you!
Chocreate lets you create chocolate bars your way! All you need to do is choose your chocolate (white, milk, dark) and start creating your masterpiece! Maybe you like hazelnuts or almonds in your chocolate. Maybe you want to go the fancier way and you want rose petals! Can you eat those? Choccreate has 101+ ingredients for you to choose from! Imagine the unlimited possibilities!
Choccreate gave us a chance to create 3 different chocolate masterpieces for us to yummy-ly (not even a word) review! Since Tyler is not much of a chocolate fiend as the boys and mommy are we decided to create something scrumptious for ourselves.
Doesn’t it just look delicious!?
It was nor hard for me to build my masterpiece: dark chocolate, organic whole hazelnut and ground espresso. It tastes way better than it sounds! The dark chocolate could be a bit bitter, in my opinion, but it was still very tasty. Did I mention they only use German chocolate? Yup, they do! Yumms. All this chocolate talk is making me crave it even more!
OK, back to our, hmm, chocolate…the hazelnuts were skinned and gave a great oomph to the chocolate bar. And to top it all off the ground espresso which was sprinkled on top but did not, in any way, over powered the other two flavors. DELICIOUS!
For the boys I had to get a bar each: J. got the milk chocolate with teddy grahams and yogurt chips (which I didn’t even know existed) and he loved every single piece of it! A. got the marshmallows and M&M’s on milk chocolate. They both got what they liked the best!
Of course, they did not sit down to munch on the entire bar in just one day! Boys got one square (sort of) every 2 to 3 days, so it lastest for ever!
Oh, and the marshmallows did not go stale. Simply put your leftover chocolate in a ziploc bag to keep it from going stale and yucky.
Prices vary depending on what you create. The chocolate base (3.5oz), whether white, dark or milk costs $3.95 and each addition will have an extra cost and you can add as many as you want!
Totally worth it! So if a dad you know loves chocolate make him a special chocolate bar @ Choccreate to show him how special he is to you! Maybe the kids in your house can make daddy one!!
