I really enjoy seeing my boys grow up, specially when they are learning along. The boys still love to play with their cars and pretend they crash. They even pretend they go to the store to get me some cookies and milkshakes! Pretty fun stuff. Lately they’ve started getting interested into board games which I am loving since this means that mommy can play too!!

Recently I found about Think Fun who has a great selection of Junior Games (perfect for toddlers and preschoolers). Just a few weeks back Think Fun sent the boys their Snack Attack game and they’ve been playing with it ever since!

Snack Attack is a fun and fast-paced game perfect for kids 4+. The ideal is to Spin, Match and Stack! Simple as that!! In a way it is a fast-paced memory game that includes tower building and hand-eye coordination skills! Hey, no one wants their tower to tumble down, right?!

Each player must choose a card, sort of like the ones you use to play bingo. There are two kinds to choose from blue (easy) which includes a wild spot in the middle for you to choose as any other snack. The red card is a bit harder since you only have 4 spots.

The game starts by spinning the wheel which then places the tokens on the green board. The ideal is to have each kid yell out for the tokens they want to use. This is where it could be fun since maybe 2 or more kids will want to use the same token so, first come first serve! And then you will have to stack your snacks as high as you can!

Both the boys have tried to play together but since A is 3 and J is almost 2, well they create their own rules and ignore mommy and her crazy game rules, phft! Well, A makes a spin-off version which is closer to the actual game. But the good thing is that they have fun and enjoy their board game!

J. loves to spin the tokens over and over again until they are out of the tube and into his hands, and the floor as well. That is all he does. No stacking or finding or anything like that. He is all about the spinning. Keeps him entertained!

A’s version of the game is closer to the real game. After the spin of the tokens he grabs as many snacks as he can and tries to build the tallest tower!! He uses the game boards where you are supposed to stack the tokens that look alike but doesn’t really care for the pictures on each slot. He is a stubborn one so he does as he pleases.
But they both love Snack Attack. They ave tons of fun and I’ve been invited to play a round or two! Let me tell you, it is entertaining!

I have always liked to accessorize. My favorite is wearing a watch layered with bangles and bracelets. Unfortunately this has yet to be a look achieved by me since, well, I have two little boys who love to steal mommy’s bracelets and play with them. A. even bends them which he finds quite amusing. One of these days I will have this layered watch look, one of these days. So, when I find the perfect pieces for it I have to have it! Like, say, Modify Watches!

These watches are perfect for women and men. They are big (not so much my style, but still cool) and bold. And by simply switching bands you can have a brand new watch.

With this watches you can go bold or understated. You can choose from bright yellow or green to black and gray. The possibilities are endless and they are continuously adding new designs to their collection! They should soon be allowing us to design the faces for them!! That’d be simply awesome!

Anywho, for our review I decided to go with an orange face and 2 bands, one black and one gray. Kind of out of my colorful style but I thought that with these colors I could share it with Tyler (who is very picky about almost everything, including his watches).

The bands are made of some stretchy plastic which helps the watch to stay put…it drives me nuts when watches slide up and down my wrist and I have to find the face when I need to know the time. The face is modern and easy to read.

And I am not the only one that likes the Modify Watches, oh no, A. loved it and decided that it was his to keep. He often walks around the house with the watch on and then he decides that he wants to take it off…

…and that’s when J decides to take possession over it! Of course he does not like to wear it. He fusses when I put it on and fusses when I take it off…so he simply holds on to it!
