I still miss being around the boys all day long. It used to be nice. Yes, of course, I would go insane every now and then to the point where all I ever wanted to do was either not to leave my bed or to go hide in the coat closet and come out after the house is back to its quiet state.
A. is such a big boy now. His new thing is to help mommy “fold” the laundry, so after he was done with “his pile” (aka, his clothes) he ventured into block architecture. And soon he brought me a gift, the best gift ever! Little man made mommy her very own palace!!
I don’t know if that was what he meant but I asked if it was a palace and he gave me the sweetest smile and greatest “Yes!”. Soon after he brought me building after building after building:
Left, my palace; right, my tower.
(Left to right)
Grandma’s house, my palace, my tower, my second tower, A’s laundry pile (folded).
Soon after I even had a mansion with a huge window and gorgeous mountain views!
At the end I had a complete small city that my little boy had built for me with tons of love.
Now this made it the very best gift ever!!

So, I am sure it has been noticed that I have been MIA…well, I can’t really say that I miss blogging a lot. I mean, I do miss it but I have found extra time for me and my family. Plus due to working on an ever-changing schedule I barely have time or energy by the end of the day.
I will start by catching up to some reviews that are overdue. I want to showcase some of my own photography. But most of it I want to have fun with my blog. I won’t be blogging every single day like I used to do. Whenever I have time at night I will blog but I won’t let it take over my life. Not this time.
So bare with me as I get back into the blogosphere waters.
And to get this new year started with the right foot, this is what I see every morning when I look outside my window:
Well, see ya when I see ya…I guess!!
I often forget that I have taken certain photos that I fell in love at the moment with. These two are a great example of it.
Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose.

On this specific day we went to Boulder. We walked around Pearl Street (did you know there are no dogs allowed there? We didn’t).
We had lunch. Hung around. Visited Red Rock. And it was freezing!
At the time the photos where taken we were waiting for Auntie to catch up with us. J. was standing next to daddy and A. had taken over the stroller…
It was a fun day!
A memory is what is left when something happens and does not completely unhappen.

We are running late this year. Me barely being home has switched our whole dynamic. Instead of getting our tree Thanksgiving weekend we got it last weekend. And instead of decorating it right then, well, we did it last night! Sort of. We are still missing our yearly ornaments (and we still need to get this year’s). I guess I wil have to take all Sunday to finish decorating the house before my parents come visit (!!!).
This was J.’s first year helping out with the tree. Actually, it is their tree since we decided not to move any ornaments (you know how one spot gets heavily decorated, right!?). But he had so much fun!! He’d ask me to pick him up and he’d point to the exact spot where he wanted that ornament. Of course I had to hang it, but it still counts for him, right?
A. is such a pro though! He enjoyed being able to say where the ornaments where to go! He was the one who put a couple ornaments on the same branch. Tee hee…and he was very color coordinated. Blues with blues. Purples with purples. And all the candy canes where to be at reach level, of course!!
Our tree looks awesome! And the fact that the boys did all the decorating makes it that much more special.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
